Notice is hereby given that there is a potential for a quorum of the City Council to be present at the Discussion of Cadman’s PSCAA Draft Permit to be held virtually on ZOOM, at 10:00 a.m. on March 31, 2022, co-hosted by the City of Kenmore and PERK (People for an Environmentally Responsible Kenmore).

In response to questions received by the City of Kenmore regarding the upcoming PSCAA Public Hearing, proposed Order of Approval and Determination of Nonsignificance, the City of Kenmore will be hosting a discussion with PERK (People for an Environmentally Responsible Kenmore) and other members of the community on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. If you would like to join, please see the Zoom link below:

1. WEDNESDAY August 11 6-7pm: KCAC/PERK meeting 6-7pm USE RECURRING ZOOM Link

FRIDAY AUGUST 13th from 12 Noon- 1:30pm : Signage RALLY on BURKE GILMAN TRAIL for Clean Air in the Northshore Area -KENMORE- Meet across the street from the Kenmore CADMAN asphalt plant, 6431 NE 175th St, Kenmore, WA 98028. (We will be on the Burke Gilman Trail side of the NE 175th street.) Bring mask, water, SIGNS. It will be HOT! 95 degrees predicted.
WHY? At the unanimous direction of Kenmore City Council, the City of Kenmore cosigned with Representatives Gerry Pollet and Javier Valdez and Senator David Frockt a letter to Governor Jay Inslee requesting he issue an emergency proclamation to halt asphalt production during hazardous air quality events.

Join us on Friday, from 12 noon – 1:30 pm to stand in solidarity for clean air. Hear speakers, write a postcard to Governor Inslee in support of the emergency proclamation request (postcard writing materials and stamps provided), and Wave A Sign to raise awareness. Bring your mask, a sign (Message example: Governor: Stop the asphalt when the air pollution is hazardous!)
